No matter the party, one realization seems to be supported by both sides -- mental healthcare is necessary for children and teens and is incredibly hard to access. Why would we choose to eliminate a basic framework from our schools, which allows for broad-based support as well as individualized access to higher tiers of support? We can't point to a growing public health issue and simultaneously eliminate solutions and funding for said solutions. We can and should do better!
