The use of SGARs should be banned because they work up the food chain killing more than the rodents who are targeted. Predators like foxes, hawks, owls and more are killed by these rodenticides. These predators keep the rodent population in check so killing them allows rodents to flourish. SGARs also cause intense suffering in the animals who are unlucky enough to ingest them.
