I vehemently oppose HB 1769. Government has no business forcing ideology into exam rooms or second-guessing medical professionals and their patients. This bill pushes a political agenda straight into private health care decisions and ties the hands of providers who are trained to give evidence-based care. Patients deserve accurate medical guidance and the freedom to make their own choices — not mandates written to satisfy activists. Laws like this create barriers, confusion, and risk, while pretending to offer protection. HB 1769 is intrusive, heavy-handed, and completely out of bounds.
