The Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence provides essential service to victims. As a supporter of my local agency (Voices Against Violence) I have seen first hand the services this group provides. First and foremost they are a crisis center. People who reach out to them are in crisis and many time are in danger of physical harm. The one-on-one advocates for these people are professional trained to manage crisis situations. You can't have a professional organization with staff to support them.
