As the mother of a young son with multiple disabilities, restraint is something I worry about all the time. We need to work together as a community and team to help all people with different behavioral needs. Restricting a person without trying all other intervention is wrong. I would love to further discuss with anyone in the community and offer support from agencies who are trained in behavioral differences.
