There is currently a system for close oversight of non-profits in NH. There is currently a pathway to investigate any and all non-profits in NH through the Attorney General Division of Charitable Trusts. The State relies on countless nonprofits to provide services to the citizens of New Hampshire and relies on the current system to oversee nonprofit work. Setting up a special investigation of one nonprofit not only says that the current system is broken, which is not factual, but also creates a slippery slope for the creation of countless investigations of all nonprofit agencies. This will bog down and deter the NH legislature and the State from providing needed services to the citizens of this state.
