Physical safety of trans people in public places and commercial places is important to their health and wellbeing. Being forced to use a bathtoom that is not appropriate for ones' needs is distressing and unsupportive. Also, there is no need for an intervention of this kind. We need to stay out of other peoples' business, not intervene more. There is a lot of misinformation that all or many trans people are predators and a threat to public safety. This is simply not the case. Trans people are some of the most kind, giving, and open minded people I know. They are just trying to live their lives and contribute to our communities and we are pushing them out. Please oppose this bill so we can support the presence of trans people in our communities.
