If the representatives who put forth this bill don't understand what the Justices have already laid out as to the states requirement to fund education, then they should not be in their positions. This is not an attack on them, but rather pointing out that this may not be the right position for them to be in. That is totally okay. Not everyone can be anything. I cannot play professional sports. I am just not that athletic. I would like to play professional sports, but it is not my area of expertise. Not being able to understand the clear direction from the courts, which they have needed to make repeatedly in the history of this state due to the states repeated failure to properly fund public education, shows that the representatives do not have expertise in understanding important legal direction. This will only result in tax payers needing to fund public education more heavily.
