HB1675 is an unconstitutional attempt to weaken the infrastructure that protects victims and supports local crisis centers across New Hampshire. This bill is a politically motivated effort to target, intimidate, and undermine an organization dedicated to protecting victims. Calling it anything other than an abuse of power ignores reality. This bill is an attack not only on the Coalition, but on New Hampshire nonprofits broadly. The Coalition already operates under strong state and federal oversight, just like every other nonprofit in NH. They have a decades-long, unblemished record of transparent fiscal reporting.
