I live in Stratham in a condo association where 62 individual free-standing private dwellings are sharing, in groups of two, a septic system. That is 31 septic systems that are each shared by two separate single family dwellings. A separate meter is place on one of the dwellings in each of these pairs to measure the electrical usage of the pumps for each of these shared septic systems. This usage is currently charged at a much higher commercial rate, instead of the lower private rate, although the usage is clearly residential. Please pass this bill to correct this inequity.
