I have spent many years involved in providing and facilitating access to necessary services to adults, children and families. Domestic and sexual violence is extremely damaging to both the partners involved as well as the children who witness and live through these incidents. People need support if they are involved in abusive situations and oftentimes have been involved in multiple prior situations prior to reaching out for help. DO NOT weaken the supports we have in place. Is it the position of state government that the the legislature has the right to exercise "legislative authority" over all organizations operating in this state when already operating under established oversight? Please do not make life harder for your constituents.
