I oppose HB1214. Having been a Goffstown resident for most of my adult life, I am very disappointed that our Town representatives have decided to take this retaliatory stance against our Town library when the librarian and the board of trustees were doing their job. I am very concerned that we are starting down a path we do not want to be on. Our trustees are duly elected to do their job and only our Town voters should make the decision if they are doing their jobs correctly. NH has always been a State the prides itself on local government rule and Town meetings. HB1214 does not conform with how, we the people, want our local and State government to run. Respectfully.
