I am a Derry resident and parent of children who went through the Derry School system. I have followed the work done by the Derry School Board. I have seen the hard work they have put in to balance the best interests of the students with many complicated issues and respect for the tax payers. This bill appears irresponsible and not in any way in the best interest of the public school students in Derry or the Derry tax payers. None of the Derry sponsors of this bill have children in public schools in Derry and they do not have a track record of supporting adequate funding of public education in NH.
