HR40 is about accountability. It calls on the Legislature to do what the New Hampshire Supreme Court has already ruled it must do in Claremont I, Claremont II, and most recently ConVal: define an adequate education, determine its cost, fund it with constitutional taxes, and ensure delivery through accountability. Communities like Claremont are paying the price for state inaction through high property taxes and fewer school resources. HR40 does not create new policy. It urges the Legislature to honor its oath of office and uphold our New Hampshire constitutional rights. Please vote YES on HR40.
