I am a 50 year voting resident of NH and a public health nurse by profession and I oppose this bill and urge this committee to vote ITL. The bill requires school districts to email parents copies of non-academic surveys in public schools and removes the exception for the youth risk behavior survey. This is an important assessment tool and parents can already opt out if they chioose. Requiring parents to opt in will only decrease the number of students taking these surveys and deprive the state of valuable information on priority issues affecting the health and safety of our youth. Please vote against this uneccessary bill. Thank you for yourr time and for allowing me the opportunty to voice my concerns.
