Social emotional learning is vital for schools. It helps students with focus, memory, mental health, stress management, and academic motivation. Because of that, we see better test scores (by 11 perfentile points), higher college acceptance, and all around more success. New Hampshire has a proud reputation of being in the top schools in the entire country. If we were to take away social emotional learning, we could lose our spot when in comes to leading the nation in academics.
