Prohibiting the use of certain second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides is an excellent idea and I hope this bill gets supported and passed into law. These types of pesticides are used liberally day to day all over the state, and are highly toxic to non-target wildlife that seriously injures or kills precious animals such as eagles, owls, hawks, turkey vultures, fox, cougars, etc. These animals suffer terribly as the mode of action causes internal bleeding which can take several days, causing prolonged suffering.
