As a child growing up before domestic abuse was called out as unacceptable in our society, I pleaded with officials to step in as my mother was beat up on a regular basis. I felt helpless against this abuse and have suffered all my life due to this trauma. Please do not take away the ability for victims to find support. Also the idea that any non profit could be investigated initiated by a politician is very wrong, as we face the normalizing of Fascism in our country
