I strongly oppose this attempt to move library oversight to municipalities and to make trustees advisory only. This would ruin the valuable partnerships we currently have between librarians and their public trustees, eliminate library independence, and would likely politicize oversight of the public libraries in NH. Public libraries should remain an unbiased resource for all citizens.
