HB 1675 isn’t about accountability or good governance. It's about punishing organizations that advocate for victims when that advocacy becomes inconvenient to a member of the legislature. This bill attempts to replace existing mechanisms for oversight with a kangaroo court. The NH House should spend their time strengthening the systems that help survivors -- not weaponizing government to silence them.
