Since all of us interact with each other in a variety of venues, to allow an exemption because of religion puts all of us at risk for exposure to many serious diseases. Vaccinations are effective in protecting us. For example, I am an 80 year old woman. I have been receiving flu vaccinations since 1989 and have not had the flu in all that time. THEY WORK!
