These real estate tax increases are causing people to lose the homes they worked hard for. The inflated values and unrealized increase in values cause unsustainable taxation. Between interest rates, inflated values and outrageous taxes, the American dream is unreachable. Those who have previously attained it are having their dreams taken away as they can no longer afford to pay the government for something they already own! An increase in these taxes does nothing but move NH toward socialism as people lose what they worked so hard to obtain. NH needs to start looking to reduce waste and find means of funding other than stealing people’s homes.
