I support HB1811. Medical decisions should be made voluntarily and with informed consent. Vaccine mandates rely on compliance and coercive pressure rather than clear legislative authority, making them difficult to enforce fairly. Additionally, mandates conflict with the principles of the Nuremberg Code, which established that medical interventions must be voluntary and free from coercion. Regardless of legal interpretation, informed consent cannot exist when individuals face penalties or loss of access for refusing a medical procedure.
