Forcing foster families to relinquish their beliefs and the own or their children's' rights in order to take in and care for a needy child is not only logically and scientifically unsound, but represents a counterproductive approach to achieving better foster care coverage and reducing the number of children waiting for foster parents, who could potentially become permanent adopters. This is a cruel application of an arbitrary rule and it should be abolished. Please support HB1219 to open up more foster homes in NH.
