As a Special Educator in NH, I can think of nothing more reprehensible to the lives of autistic people than robbing them of their privacy and autonomy. In my many years of working with neurodivergent youth, I can attest that these young people have just the same right to privacy as you or me, and have spent my career ensuring they will find their path in life in the years after graduation. To freely offer their information, no matter how sensitive, to a given agency with no validity to its contents does not only violate their right to privacy, it is morally wrong. I applaud the Representatives who are willing to speak for those who may not be able to speak for themselves, and I wholeheartedly align myself with supporting this bill.
