I oppose this bill because I believe health care facilities need to have hiring policies that will enhance the health and safety of all those using the facilities. For example, to have an unvaccinated health care professional working on a surgical floor of a hospital during a covid or other disease outbreak is not in the best interests of either the employee or the patients in their care. Sadly, I had a very dear friend die of covid 19 due to exposure to an unvaccinated health care provider with the disease when he was in hospital recovering from an unrelated ailment. This was probably preventable.
