I oppose HB 1671 which aims to punish facilities that receive Medicaid payments if they require that the staff at the facility be vaccinated. This bill, if enacted, would elevate the personal preferences of some over the common good of the many, including the most medically vulnerable. I urge legislators to listen to scientists and physicians when making decisions on public health.
