Kathi Borden | Oppose CACR28

CACR28 is a clear violation of the US Constitution and the intent of the Constitution's authors to include all religions, including the lack of a religion, equally under the law. New Hampshire citizens represent many different religious and spiritual beliefs. To affiliate our public education system with a specific religion amounts to indoctrinating children into a specific religious belief, and discriminates against all other religions in hiring teachers and in what our children will be taught. The attempt to pass this bill would result in many years of costly legal challenges through the court system, all in a misguided attempt to violate the principle of the separation of church and state and to impose one group's beliefs upon all other groups. The psychological cost to the many families affiliated with other religions and to the almost half of families identifying as unaffiliated, is inhumane. In addition, New Hampshire already has difficulty recruiting employees to the state; many will never consider moving to a place where the beliefs of others are forced upon them. I strongly URGE YOU TO VOTE AGAINST CACR28.
