Meaghan Gardena

Good afternoon, This is a frightening time in our nation and our world. Private data is collected by nearly everything we do involving the internet and used for unknown purposes that we cannot consent to. People are afraid. And for those on with autism spectrum disorder, there is a real and genuine fear that the government will put together a database or list of all those with such a diagnosis. That diagnosis is private information pertinent only to the individual, their doctor, and if applicable their teachers. The government has no business collecting and sharing that information, and them doing so only increases fear and makes accessible this data to unsavory parties who would target this demographic. I write in support of this bill for the right to privacy of my friends and neighbors with autism-related data. Thank you, Meaghan
