Please oppose this bill. Allowing humane societies to be a part of this process, as they are currently, is essential. Allowing licensed veterinarians to establish probable cause can take pressure off the State Veterinarian when time is of the essence. And maintaining options for penalties for convicted offenders may help to prevent recurrence. Thank you for your consideration.
