I am vehemently opposed to this bill, as it removes layers of protection for animals already in jeopardy. This bill would slash the effectiveness of the NHSPCA, and over-burden already overwhelmed animal control officers, while simultaneously adding to the backlog and time it takes for the State Veterinarian to be able to get to review the case of animals in already desperate need. Your vote AGAINST bill HB1776 is a vote against animal cruelty, and suffering. Vote against these inappropriate and unnecessary changes, and for the animals who trust us with their care.
