Ellen Douglas | Oppose HB1766

I have a small hobby farm with 10 rescued pets and livestock. No matter where I have lived in NH, there has been at least one neighbor that neglects their pets, which I have reported to the authorities to little avail. NH animal protection laws are already weaker than other New England states and don't offer what could be considered humane minima for adequate care of pets and livestock. To further weaken these already inadequate minima is unconscionable. I vehemently oppose this bill.
