The police seek the help of the SPCA 85% of the time to help investigate animal cruelty cases, why would our lawmakers take issue in protecting equines and other livestock from animal cruelty? It’s absurd and disturbing that this has to even be said, much less that people in the community have to oppose a law that would take those very protections away from a living, breathing creature, Protections for these animal are obviously needed, otherwise we would not be here now..
