Withhold Medicaid payments from any medical facility who does not accept religious and medical exemptions for employees or students training at the facility. Medical employees and aspiring students need to have the same right to choose or refuse vaccinations as anyone else. They often know better and have greater insight into the risks associated with vaccines than the general population. We need educated, thoughtful health employees who want to do good without being forced to participate in a corrupt or unethical proclamation. These people also need to be able to speak up and raise alarm bells over any questionable safety related health practice without jeopardizing their livelihood. Keep the canaries in place so we have a steady stream of health care workers available and new ones coming in.
