Joanna Andros | Oppose CACR28

This is not a typical bill: it is a proposed amendment to the Constitution, so I would not think this would have validity, Secondly, it is a very long and wordy proposal, the likes of which I've not seen before. What it does do is seek additional protections for Christians, but not other religions. Since we have Separation of Church and State in our US Constitution, this amendment is by nature not constitutional. or enforceable. People already have freedom to practice any religion, or no religion. We do not have a State religion, nor does the US government have a State religion. I would guess that this proposed amendment would not be enforceable and should not pass. Joanna Andros
