One of the reasons it's hard to keep young people in the state, in addition to the fact that in-state tuition at our public colleges and universities is higher than any other state in the country, is that the minimum wage is lower than any of the states around us. Raising the minimum wage levels the playing field and ensures a healthy economy for workers and employers, allowing us to retain talent and grow our small and large businesses. Low wages do not make New Hampshire (or the USA) great, they just make us poor. Please support HB 1484
