I work elections in Madbury and oppose this bill. It is completely unnecessary and designed to intimidate and confuse voters. There is absolutely no evidence that non-citizens are voting in elections in New Hampshire. Passing this bill into law would waste the time of the Secretary of State as well as local election officials, as well as harass individual voters, which could possibly result in the State (i.e., taxpayers) being sued. The bill would result in a diversion of taxpayer money from more substantive business. Please vote 'no' on this bill.
