It is very important that animal cruelty situations continues to be supported and those animals at risk be removed from these situations. Many years ago there was a situation at the home below me. They had 3 horses. It was during the winter and at some point I stopped seeing them. After a couple of weeks we had a snow storm and it was obvious no one was going in the barn. After a few calls I was able to get NHSPCA to check on them. Unfortunately 2 of the horses had died and they were left in the closed barn with one horse still alive, barely. Sadly things like this will continue to happen and there needs to be a support system in place to help the animals involved.
