Please oppose HB 1817. This bill contradicts the basic premise of vouchers. Vouchers were sold as opting out of public school and its benefits. HB 1817 blurs that line by expanding access to public school resources while still taking public funds, shifting costs onto local taxpayers. If the whole PR by voucher supporters is that pubic schools are bad, they don’t need any reason to go to have access to them... Please vote ITL on HB 1817.
