I strongly oppose and forced curriculum requirements for public education that are put in place to simply appease a political party. All curriculum should be in place to benefit student learning. Students should not have knowledge censored to make learning history more comfortable. Students should be learning facts and be creating critical thinking skills. All students should be able to feel welcome in the learning environment and learn history as is actually occurred. This bill is simply censorship in sheep’s clothing. This bill is using the legal system to wrongfully attack teachers and the public school system. I strongly oppose this bill.
