I am deeply opposed to this bill, and furthermore it's probably the most ITL bill I have seen come out of Concord in years. I taught Biology and Anatomy in NH public schools and colleges for 35 years, and this bill essentially makes the teaching of anything about human reproduction illegal.... it may not be what the framers of the bill meant to say, BUT IT IS WHAT IT SAYS. Regardless of intent, this is a ridiculous and needless bill. Also worth noting the other egregious error, which is that the use of pronouns and identity is not limited to professional communication and therefore in the letter of the law would cover personal communication as well.... First amendment, anyone? Just STOP with this evangelical free state nonsense and PLEASE figure out how to fund schools as the courts have repeatedly ordered you to!
