As a member of the equine community the abuse and neglect of these valuable animals must not be tolerated. Horses have served as a means for transportation, agriculture, military support and pleasure for hundreds of years. Should an equine fall in to the hands of any individual who willfully abuses or neglects them they should be held accountable. We must protect them and become a voice to ensure their well being. Stronger laws are needed that will not tolerate or enable this behavior.
