I support this bill because raising the minimum wage to $17 by 2029 will barely provide a living wage but at least it will be closer and allow some families to get off assistance and/or save for retirement, pay medical bills, afford healthcare, afford quality food, etc. Higher wages are better for the economy. It fuels growth.
