We are not now, nor have we been a state based on "evangelical" principles. The suggestion that we should attempt to enshrine such principles in our state constitution is an affront to liberty and self-determination. Moreover, this is a clear violation of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Give up your Handmaid's Tale fantasies. We, the people, will never tolerate it. Please move to Saudi Arabia if you are so keen to live in an authoritarian theocracy.
