Hello legislatures - I am in favor of Bill 1817. It seems like a "no brainer" (common sense) bill. Granite staters are paying thousands of property tax dollars into an education system that we are not utilizing. Many families have chosen to unenroll their children from the public schools in order to keep our children safe, healthy and thriving. We are loving parents who have put the well-being of our children as our number one priority. Often, this comes at a great cost. Children are already missing out on milestone opportunities like dances and other social events; why would we exclude children further and exclude them from taking an art or history class at their local public school? The discrimination against non-public school children HAS TO END. I am calling on all of you to sign your name to END the discrimination toward CHILDREN who did not thrive attending full-time in their public school. PLEASE sign your name to allow them to attend part-time without being charged again. In summary, we are already paying for a full-time education and we are only asking for part-time service.
