Harmful cyanobacteria blooms are increasing across New Hampshire’s lakes and rivers, posing risks to public health, drinking water, recreation, property values, and local economies. If this trend continues, our environment will suffer and there will be associated negative impacts on our local economies across the state. It is imperative that we study the factors that are driving bloom formation so that we can develop effective mitigation strategies and put them into place soon. Thank you for taking immediate action.
