As the past weeks have made very apparent, ICE officers are given immunity and are not constrained by the US Constitution. Free speech is being suppressed by ICE through being very physically aggressive and even more concerning, creating a database of protesters using facial recognition which can then be used to harass citizens for their speech. No due process is provided to those that are arrested. Home searches are being done without a warrant. This is not a right/left disagreement, but one about Federal overreach. Our Bill of Rights was drafted in an effort to curtail such activities, however it is being ignored at the highest level. New Hampshire is a wonderful state whose residents value freedom and limited government. This bill is a step toward creating some accountability for the Federal governments aggressive and violent overreach. Please support this bill.
