Common core has ruined education for our children. It over complicates subject matter, math in particular, leading to confusion and frustration. Example: Simple math problems do not need to be broken down into several steps just to appease common core requirements when the problem could be solved simply in just a couple of steps. There is no benefit to over complicating simple math. Children are falling behind and/or not wanting to engage in their education due to frustration that is just not necessary. Education should be based on children's individual learning abilities, not a "one size fits all" curriculum like common core. Abolish common core in New Hampshire and make education actually benefit each individual child again.
