Charter schools - especially those that are based on religion - should not be getting public tax dollars before our public school system. What happened to separation of church and state in New Hampshire? The average Ossipee taxpayer cannot afford to or chooses not to send their children to private charter schools and relies instead on the underfunded public school system through the Governor Wentworth School District. My wife and I personally do not want our tax money paying for wealthy families education costs when they can already afford to finance that educational option they have chosen to utilize. Thank you.
