Honorable Committee Members, I urge you to oppose HB 1049, New Hampshire has a proud tradition of respecting Second Amendment rights and trusting its citizens to make responsible decisions about their personal property and family safety. The right to keep and bear arms includes the right to have those arms readily available for their intended lawful purposes, including self-defense. Storage mandates that interfere with this fundamental right are both unconstitutional and dangerous. I respectfully urge you to reject HB 1049 and preserve New Hampshire's commitment to constitutional rights and individual liberty. Respectfully, Cheryl Hinckley
